Commitment

If you decide you’d like to hire me as your coach, we’ll design a coaching package that fits your schedule and spending plan.

Meeting every two weeks for three months is the time commitment of the initial coaching package. After that, we re-evaluate.

You may qualify for discounted rates or pro bono coaching.

Let's discuss the options.

Who I am

I grew up in a rural part of the Southeastern United States and became the first person in my family to complete a 4-year college degree. I was stunned when I was accepted into a Master's program at Carnegie Mellon University. I battled imposter syndrome every day to finish that degree.

When I graduated in 2001, the job market was grim, yet I was hired by Microsoft, who relocated me to Redmond, WA.  I felt like a grown up” as I checked the boxes: buy a house, work hard to get promoted, travel, get married... I appeared successful to my friends and family.

In February 2018, I landed a job at Google after taking a 3 month break to rest and travel. I'd had a difficult time at my last job and was experiencing culture shock at my new job. I felt wary of burning out again. I started seeing a therapist. In desperation, I joined a meditation group at Google.  That decision proved to be pivotal.

As my mental health improved, I began working with a career coach. By focusing on what I cared about most, I empowered myself to make changes. I was meditating daily and more aware of the impact of unhealthy patterns. Initially I focused on changing my role at Google. Ultimately, I changed nearly every area of my life, including leaving the place I considered home, the Seattle area, after living there for 20 years.

I discovered that I love paddle boarding. I started painting and drawing again.  Dancing became a favorite form of self expression. I began exhibiting and selling my artwork. My social circles changed. I shed unhealthy relationships. I found friends that share my values and nurture me.

I studied to become a coach with the Co-Active Training Institute, one of the most widely recognized coaching programs in the world, which is accredited through the International Coaching Federation. I am certified as an ACC and CPCC.

In 2023, I began career coaching within Google, and in 2024, expanded my coaching practice to work with my own clients as a life coach. In April 2025, I resigned from Google to pursue coaching as my profession.

I am grateful that, through coaching, I found the courage to create the life I want, including pursuing a more rewarding career.

I’d be honored to partner with you as your life coach in creating the life that you want. Change is difficult. Working with a coach makes it a little easier.
